    Re: Newbie from Arizona

I don't know, man... I've had this ibanez RG since the early 90's. So, then I went to my son's music class not too long ago and they had the les paul studio down with this guy rocking on it. I tried it out and, man... my RG is not even close.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    Re: Newbie from Arizona

Haha... wow lots of musicians in here. I love my Les Paul! It's all black w/ gold hardware, Mahogony body w/ Maple top, & Ebony Fretboard w/ trapazoid inlays. I have gone through a lot of other guitars in my 10 years of playing and I'd have to say the Paul takes the cake! It was originally purchased new in 1992 by my step dad and he passed it onto to me (well I had to buy it but still...) last year, finally! All I have for pictures is my crappy phone, but I'm sure you get the idea...
