    yea he crawled up the side of the desk and there is a bar underneath. there was also a plastic bin right under him and so i put the rat on that and he struck it and coiled around it while hanging.

    Thanks for clarifying that. Have you had him long? How often have you feed him? I ask because I know my BPs are lightening fast don't wait to strike. The food gets in front of them and WHAM! They don't stop to process information, they eat. If he is anything like that then you putting a mouse in a bin, on the floor, after he had crawled up the desk and is dangling from a bar, doesn't sound like a smart idea. I'd be concerned about him striking while dangling and injuring himself from the force of the strike or falling off and injuring himself.

    ive had him for about 2 weeks now. i feed him every four days. yea mine is lightening fast too. i didnt intentionally put him there but its something im gonna make sure that doesnt happen again. hes my baby and i dont want him to get hurt.
