Interesting pictures but I'm confused. Was he on the desk and you put the mouse on the floor for him to eat and he struck at it from the desk?
yea he crawled up the side of the desk and there is a bar underneath. there was also a plastic bin right under him and so i put the rat on that and he struck it and coiled around it while hanging.

Thanks for clarifying that. Have you had him long? How often have you feed him? I ask because I know my BPs are lightening fast don't wait to strike. The food gets in front of them and WHAM! They don't stop to process information, they eat. If he is anything like that then you putting a mouse in a bin, on the floor, after he had crawled up the desk and is dangling from a bar, doesn't sound like a smart idea. I'd be concerned about him striking while dangling and injuring himself from the force of the strike or falling off and injuring himself.
