I think we'll go with the 4 tub rack. The dividers will be a nice bonus.

Also, is this particular tub size big enough for a 4 foot ball?

Many racks can utilize both 16qt and 30qt Sterelite tubs. www.nsreptiles.com is one place that sells them.

I have those racks and I love em. The dividers are a really great feature as well as the pins in front of each tub and my temps are always steady using a Helix. Rich's customer service is awesome. They stack great and pretty much look like one big rack. That's a good thing cause there will probably be more bp's in your future
So that's 2 thumbs up from the peanut gallery

I know I could build a rack to fit my needs, but I have no experience with heat tape. The last thing I'd want to do is put my balls in a rack that I wired. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

One thing I've not seen mentioned is that the 32 qt tubs from sterilite are no longer available, they are discontinued. They go from 28qt to 41qt, no sizes in between.

I'm with you, I won't wire anything. Having said that though, my husband and I built 3 racks last year and everything is just fine. What I did was phone Rich at Reptile Basics and tell him what I needed to heat (rack layout, tub size, temps of room the racks are in). He sorted out what size flexwatt I needed (3", 4" or 11"), wired it all for me and all I had to do was lay it down and tape it in place with the aluminium tape I got from Home Depot.

Have you checked out our DIY rack building threads. There are some amazing ideas in there. Buying a pre-made rack is certainly a very nice option though and again, I'd highly recommend Reptile Basic racks.

If you do not mind to spend the money, RBI racks are the way to go. I have six RBI racks, and love them.
