    Question scales

    im about to go purchase a weight scale for my BP's. MY question is what size should i get? as in max weight? i do know the 11lbs max out at 5000g's. how heavy does a BP get at full size??

    so then i again my question is what size should i get??

    The scale I got from Office Depot has a max of 11lbs, and I can't imagine any of my boys are ever going to get bigger than that....not too many females for that matter. I know you own a larger boa, but once he gets too big for an 11lb scale you can start using a bathroom scale.

    yeah i hear ya on the bathroom scale! that is how i weight him now haha. but for BP's they shouldn't ever exceed 5000grams = about 11lbs

    Got mine at Office Depot for $35. It uses regular batteries instead of those crazy button style watch batteries, has a tare button, and reads out in both grams and ounces. Hard to go wrong with that.

    Not sure who made mine, but it's labled as an Office Depot brand. RBI has some nice ones as well.

    I got mine off of Reptile Basics Inc.
    Its the 7001DX it has a max weight of alittle more than 15lbs. I LOVE it.
    Its about $39.

    I got my scale from RBI. It has a 7000g capacity and was about $45 bucks shipped.

    I got a food scale from target. It goes up to 7000grams and uses regular batteries. It was about $25.
