Snatches of Conversation

Cruising down the row at the farmers market and I hear two what two women conversating....."what we should do," the taller one said to the shorter darkhaired one, "is take all our money out of the banks."

"It's ridiculous paying them these bonuses," the shorter one said, "when they've lost so much money. Why reward them?"

To which the taller one replied, "It would finally get their attention if we withdrew all our money. Then they would have to pay attention to us."

Could it be that easy?

If we all took our money out of the banks that have so SCREWED us and are still awarding bonuses to their execs., would that make a change for the better?

Ahhhh, if only......

I'm sitting on my front porch, white socks with no shoes, a flannel shirt and short pants, typical Ca. wear, eating a tuna on wheat.

Oh gawd, the visual!!!

Wish I could remember the exact words but last year I was on a city bus when I overheard an older woman on her cell phone discussing what "one of her girls" she'd send out to some john. I remember thinking (whilst I was slamming my hands over my very nosy 6 year old's ears) "you must either have really crappy girls or poor management skills because you're a madam stuck riding on a nasty city bus!"

I'm at a party during welcome weekend at Central Michigan University. Me and my girlfriend at the time and probably a good 10 of our friends.

I happen to walk by and catch a conversation two girls were having and what I happened to catch of it was
"I've been really stressed out about coming back to school and it's caused my genital herpes to flare up."

Needless to say later in the night I talked my buddy out of thinking she was cute.
