    Does this pose mean buisness?

I took him out for the first time after getting him 6 days ago to weigh. I picked him up w/o the glove and shortly after he got in this pose. Then I put the glove on as a precaution. He was in and out of this pose but I saw the "S" so I didnt kno what the deal was. I put him on the scale and what not and nuthin happend soooo...just figured I'd see what ur opinions were based on a photo.

Not really. Sometimes they get into the s position to move, they don't get in the s position just because there gonna bite. you can usually tell when there gonna bite they will be very active and follow every single movement you make.

An "S" does not always mean aggression, it can just be a comfortable position.

From the angle of the photo, it is hard to tell, but it looks like your snake is resting his head & neck on your hand. That seems relaxed to me. An aggressive (or fearful), ready to strike, type of S would be with the snake holding its head & neck up in the air in an S.

However, if wearing the gloves gives you confidence, there is nothing wrong with that.

In my experience, they won't necessarily be active. However, the intensity that you are talking about with following every move is definitely right on.

ha ha that's my fault for not clarifying, by being very active i meant the following your every move not like crawling around all crazy like. mine actually just sit there wobbling following every move i make. sorry for the misunderstanding.

    Good lookin snake.

Don't worry about getting bit. A little guy like that wont hurt.

You will learn their behavior and not be so worried about it.

I would also like to point out, that it's quicker to pull their heads in to make ball if their necks are in the S position. So, it isnt always out of aggression.
