I've heard some nasty things about LLL. A lot about mites.

Did you discuss the dead animal on arrival with them, and take pictures as soon as it arrived?

Sorry this happened to you and to that poor snake. Sadly, we tend to read the fine print AFTER something happens so your thread is a good lesson in reading everything first and upfront before a company gets your money.

Personally I've never used LLL myself. I used to frequent a pet store that had pretty questionable herps in it (not healthy, loads of mites, etc.). I asked one day and guess who their main supplier was - LLL. Put me off ever buying from them if this is what they supplied to their corporate customers.

I have been to their store several times and still the same.. not the cleanest place nor is their customer service any better.

One thing that keeps them alive I think is their prices on supplies are the lowest I have noticed.

I buy supplies from them, but never a reptile. They are Major flippers and we all know how that turns out...

Yea they are shipping me another one thursday. However I was pretty angry I had to pay shipping again, but couldn't fight it because it was right there in their disclaimer.

Right there goes to show you the lack of pride. For you to have to pay shipping again is rediculous. Maybe they should spend more money on welfare of their animals and bussines practices instead of the huge amount of advertising they do. Just my 2
