Dutchherp, jungles tend to prefer perches with a 3-point contact. If you install a perch with a Y shape, they are more likely to spend their time on it.
I think I'll just leave the perch as it is, so he can just use it for climbing. He already has a shelf, an elevated log, and a high hide box he can perch on, but I do think he'll appreciate the climbing space
Time will tell.
