They say necessity is the mother of invention, and desperation is the father of innovation. As much as it truly sucks right now to be facing this insane gas crisis, it may be what ultimately marks the turning point in social evolution to find cheap, clean, and renewable/sustainable alternative fuels.

Even as a person who does not drive or own a car, I am affected by the rising costs of virtually everything that needs to be trucked, shipped, or otherwise produced by machinery that runs on gas.

Here is hoping for a greener, much more eco-friendly future.
