I'd like to show myself flexing my muscles, but I keep a low profile.
A man and woman pair of ball python breeders at an expo figured out who I was years ago and told me that they would charge me an extra 50% for any snake they had for sale...
I think this was due to the fact that I had negotiated pretty hard with them in the past for a few of my original breeders-and they were angry.
You would laugh at the cost today of what I paid back then for some basic morphs ($250 for a pastel, $200 for a black pastel, etc).
I did a quick internet search and could not find their business anymore. I know they were much older than me--I guess they stopped breeding and/or changed their company name.
