Bad shed--questions
Hello all. Long time lurker, but just recently registered. Let me start by giving a small backstory and enclosure info.
I have a bp that had a bad shed, mostly due to poor husbandry that I have been working to fix. He is in a 36x18x18 glass screen-top that had aspen. Keeping humidity up was a total nightmare even with frequent misting, but I have since switched to eco-earth/repti-bark combo that seems to be holding much better.
Current setup:
Heat - CHE & UTH
Lighting - PT2226 (dual light) (overkill, but it was what I had available) (12hr timer)
Substrate - Eco-Earth/Repti-Bark 50/50
Larger water bowl with aerator
50% of top covered with aluminum foil with foam board.
Back and one side covered with foam/poster board
temp range - ~89-76, hot hide is usually around 86-87, cooler hide 78-79.
Humidity - This has been a battle. Before it would have been very spiky, ultimately dropping back to ~30%, new seems to hold pretty solid in the ability to maintain 50%-60% (still testing)

New (3 hour window):

I know the tank is big for a younger bp (130g), but I was sure to give ample cover and hides so it doesn't feel overly open.
His recent shed went slowly and poorly. He has shed about half (back half), but still has dry skin on the front half of his body (essentially behind eyes to middle of his body). Is there anything I should do to assist in this?
As for the tank (will add pictures tonight), is there any suggestions to better the husbandry? I ultimately want to build my own cabinet, but that will be down the road.
