My new rescue adult female normal.

So I couldn’t help but get a snake off Craigslist! It was a very large, mature adult female, and has breeding potential with a high-end dominant genes male, as long as she can be healthy.
She was extremely underweight, and slightly dehydrated when I met her. Her owner openly admitted that he “couldn’t afford” to feed her properly.
Anyway, at her length and maturity, she should be around 2500 grams. She has extremely baggy, saggy, loose skin from starvation and I am slowly fattening her back up. She only weighs 1900 something grams when I first got her!
Here are some photos. She is absolutely the friendliest ball python I’ve ever had, out of 11 total! She will just sit on my lap absorbing my warmth for long periods of time. She enjoys being handled gently, being with humans and warm body heat. Amazing, she doesn’t try to escape or hide like most young ball pythons! She shows no fear at all around humans, which is unusual for most snakes.
