Oh, I definitely understand that he’s a scrub python and not a puppy. He is fierce and intelligent with sword-like teeth! Totally an animal that commands respect. He took the head right off his dinner last week and then came back for it. But he does seem to enjoy being held when he’s in the right mood. Maybe it's just me, but I've never thought of my snakes in the "cuddly" aspect in 17 years of owning them.....I just think they're amazing pets with everything considered. The lowest maintenance out of any pet out there I would argue.
I think after you witness a few brutal feedings when they hit the adult stage you kind of change your attitude towards what they're capable of lol.....I think the few people here who keep "hots" are more inclined to understand what I'm saying.
