    Something additional to look into for the original price is that the animal may be het for a recessive gene. For example the animal may be carrying one albino gene where two are required for it to be seen on the animal. If the animal is het for albino and it is bred to a full albino 50% of the babies would appear albino while the other 50% would appear normal but be carrying the albino gene. There are many recessive genes. You may want to ask the original owner if you can.
