    Well, there are a bunch of captive snakes over in the visitor's center side of the building - I think one of the local Park District employees over there is a de-facto rescue. I told him to let me know if he needs help with their burm, but he hasn't taken me up on it.

    The rabbit kits top out at 200 grams, so a snake on medium rats can easily handle one. They've actually got less in the way of hips than a rat. Last night my big Bredli, who gets medium rats on rat weeks, took her rabbit kit and a small rat (intended for one of the BPs, but she's blue and not one to eat in that state).
