hey, all.
i have had my ball python for a few months.
the temperatures have always been perfect. (around 90 hot side, around 80 cool side)
i have him in a tub with two heat pads connected to two seperate thermostats.
it was very cold this winter so the cold side heat was in fact needed.

however, it's warming up now.
last night before bed i checked up on him and the temperatures were too high.
the hot side was around 110 degrees and the cold side was 100.
it was very late so i couldn't do much about it.
i took him out, waited for the temps to go back down, turned off the heat, and put him back in.

so i am unsure what to do. i heard some people just turn their heat off in the summer because even with a thermostat it is just too hot. should i get a better thermostat? i've heard so many stories of thermostat malfunctions happening and i just don't want to risk it.

thankfully it could have been way hotter and my ball python is fine.
right now with no heat his temperature has fallen to the 70s. if i plug the heat back in and lower the thermostat temp it's still too hot.

i found out that snakes could be okay without heat for a few days and the worst case if it's too cold is they just brumate. however today was supposed to be his feeding day, and i don't want to feed him if he doesn't have enough heat to digest or something.

please help, i'm a beginner to all this and i don't know what to do.
