Babies will generally eat after they first shed which is around a week after hatching. I am not super concerned about the number of feedings. First, this is the number of feedings that were actually tracked. Since it came from a pet store the number could be BS to the positive or the negative. What matters is does the animal appear healthy. Post a picture. We can tell you pretty quick if the animal appears as it should. I strongly adivise you to take a look in the care section on this board. By the questions you are asking there may be many things that you need to know. There are also tons of resources on the net that explain a ball python's life cycle and feeding habits. This is a super easy animal to take care of, but being informed keeps you out of trouble.
