Check under, behind and even up and inside the workings of the appliance. I was recently at a fish/reptile shop near me and one of his BPs escaped over night. He had gotten into the back of the freezer unit and the shop owner had to pull the unit apart and pull the angry snake out. They were both fine after a bit, but both were stressed due to the whole adventure. Be careful to move furniture/appliances slowly so you don't injure the snake. Good luck!!!
Thanks for the tips everyone... I do feed f/t and today is feeding day so Im thinking I may turn a heating pad on low with a hide over it and some food... see if I can persuade him to come out of hiding. My husband looked inside the coils and back of our fridge and oven but no snake that we could see. If one of my dogs had gotten to him I would assume there would be blood somewhere in my carpets but we haven't found anything. Plus whenever I've had the snakes out, the dogs are more afraid of them than the snakes are of the dogs hah.
