So, I've had my young bp for almost a year now, and each time she sheds its always terrible. Her normal humidity usually hangs around 50-60%. This time I made sure that as soon as I saw her go into blue, to raise the humidity to around 70% at times a little higher, but never falling below 60. She was in blue for around a week, and then she came out of it for a few days, and then nothing. Today however, my dad noticed some bits of shed around the tank, and so I picked her up for a second to see what was up, and she was having another bad shed! UGH! I just cannot get this right! I've kept the humidity up for two weeks to ensure that she'd get this perfect one piece shed that everyone talks about. I don't know if she's just lazy (I know she roams her tank a lot at night though, but recently not as much), or if my husbandry is wrong somehow? This is so frustrating! It can't feel good for her either, and I would like to completely clean her tank and I've been waiting for her to shed so I wouldn't have to stress her out.![]()
