I doubt your friends know as much as some of the established members here. What forum are they apart of and where did they learn their husbandry practices?

You need to not under estimate the strength of a snake. If it wants under the paper towels it will get there. Once there it will stay to long and you are going to have a burned snake.

Much of the things expressed to you have not been opinions and are facts. You seem to have very little working knowledge of snakes and need to listen to those here that are loaded with it. Many members here have probably been raising snakes longer than you have been alive.

I don't see why you ask the question and then discount the answer. I can tell you it is very frustrating to waste our time trying to help somebody that comes off with a remark and reason for everything they do wrong and try to convince us your practices are ok. You have many issues and maybe you should change your tactics and stop creating post and instead go on a reading binge and search the forum for all the burn snake threads, thermostat threads, feeding threads, and general husbandry threads. Nothing you have asked has not been asked before and at least if you read old threads you wont be wasting peoples time by getting them to help you just for you to say your way is working fine.

Do things your way. Lets see where that gets you.

I hope for your snakes sake you stop being hard headed and follow the advice you are asking for.
