AP Cage Questions

Aaron / Misha- Would I mount the heat tape on the bottom of the cage (as you would with a glass tank)? and if I used that much (2' of 12" tape) would I still need a RHP?

I think this question had been answered already but yes, you'd mount the heat tape on the outside bottom of the terrarium.

I contacted Robyn at THG heat tape regarding proper airflow spacing for the heat tape and he suggested a 2-3mm gap so the heat wouldn't build up underneath.

Like Aaron said, the need for a RHP depends on your room temps. With that said, heat tape doesn't increase ambient temps. So unless the room where the terrarium is, stays between 75-84 F consistently, I'd suggest a RHP.
