Feed him in the Living space, no handling and leave him in the 6qt. I've noticed that they sometimes need the container to smell like them before they get comfortable enough to eat. Give him some time, maybe skip a papertowel cleaning or two and try feeding him. In all actuality just relax... Become less concerned. Which I know is very hard to do at the moment. He sounds a little stressed and he's a baby. But they do know what's best for them.
