If you've read my thread about my latest pickup, it is a female clown that is 66% pos het hypo. I already have future breeding plans for the clown female that did NOT involve hypo. Part of me wants to prove her out, but I really don't want to buy another male snake to prove her out. That's extra space, money, and another mouth to feed every week.
Would you go forward with your original plan? Or would you stop to try to prove her out?
Of course I could always get extremely lucky, and she ends up actually being 100% het hypo, and passes on that gene to the male holdback I want to keep to breed back to her. If that happens, I don't think I'd have anymore luck in this world! haha
