Why would anyone buy a rack?

To the OP.... you basically walked into a corvette club and starting asking everyone why the hell they would buy a corvette when a ford escort could be had for so much less... How would that go over?

All I was saying is that racks are way overpriced for the materials used to make them. Thats it.

All I was trying to say is that the pricing is outrageous.

What are you basing your claim of outrageous pricing on? What rack, specifically (including materials used), would you be able to build for way cheaper then it is being sold for from the pros?

Just from posting this 1 thread I have lost all respect for this site and the people who post on it
