Lol, I had the same thought when I saw the title. On a side note, I don't think I've ever seen a well cared for betta at a pet store, let alone walmart. They're all gray and sickly looking in Petsmart and a local pet store I've been in a lot. I don't think people think about but betta are a tropical fish and do better when the water is a little warmer.Originally Posted by purplemuffin

But I will say my stomach churned reading this title before I knew what the thread was about, I know walmart sells fish and I know how horribly they care for them(especially their bettas, disgraceful.) so I was like, they BETTER not have decided to sell ball pythons in their 'pet' department!
