Depends on the rest of his collection and what he wants to do in the future.
For me, I'd keep the 2 pairs and be happy with the idea or the two females to add in more morphs to one and ( if desired ) breed the other pair to make another superblast and have a second male as a backup if something happened to one.
I just think it has a little more flexibility and built in backup plans - plus theres always the chance of a female pastel being scarily inexpensive next year to let him get an early start on superblasts - again with a second male as backup.
Then again I'm kind of conservative and have a male heavy collection so I may be overcompensating.
