Hmm,

Depends on the rest of his collection and what he wants to do in the future.

For me, I'd keep the 2 pairs and be happy with the idea or the two females to add in more morphs to one and ( if desired ) breed the other pair to make another superblast and have a second male as a backup if something happened to one.

I just think it has a little more flexibility and built in backup plans - plus theres always the chance of a female pastel being scarily inexpensive next year to let him get an early start on superblasts - again with a second male as backup.

Then again I'm kind of conservative and have a male heavy collection so I may be overcompensating.

So are we talking 1.1 Lemonblasts or 2.2 Lemonblasts? If it's 1.1 then get the super blast. 2.2, keep the females and 1 male.

I would keep the pair of Lemonblasts! You can breed them with other morphs to get more morphs. This way you are not limited to breed with just females(other morphs) or just with the males(other morphs) in your collection!

a pair = 2 snakes
2 pairs = 4 snakes

The way you said this, I am reading 4 lemonblast Vs. 1 Superblast.

Eh, I'd go with the two pairs. I'm not much of a gambler, and two extra females, plus two males just increases the odds of successful clutches. If I was into BP breeding I'd already have a few female pastels or bees or super pastels, so I'd be only a season away from a super blast anyhoo, plus the benefit of nice combo females and combo backup males for breeding.

If there is no wrong ansewer, I would keep the better eater of the two females, and keep the superblast male and sell the other 3... Leaves you a triple gene male that would go very nicely with almost anything ( a pastel butter comes to mind as a good example) and then a nice double female to throw in the mix, and if you decide not to use her in a time, you have a female worth much much more more with size and close to breeding size

This has always been a pet peeve of Big Gunns. When someone says they have a pair, why do people always ask how many is that? Since the beginning of time there has only been 2 in a pair. Pair of socks etc..etc..etc.

Wait.. 2.2 Lemon Blasts?? I would go for that instead of just one male Super Blast. Just my view on it though, you decide which ever you really want.
