Have you considered using your current heating equipment and moving the snake to a plastic tub set up? I'm not sure there is going to be anything that solves your problem well, 52 degrees is really low for a room temp.
If you can't get a space heater and can't correct the problem you may have to consider finding the animal another home. With those temps it is only a matter of time for an RI to spring up. May not be for a month but it will most likely happen, are you going to be able to deal with the vet bills if thats the case?
