If you live in AK, AZ, CA, CO, LA, MD, MI, NH, NJ, SC, UT, VA, WA, WI, or WV, or American Samoa, Guam, Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, or Virgin Islands, then it may be YOUR representative who is on the subcommittee in charge of HR 669.

YOU need to check if your representative is on that subcommittee, and if so, we really need YOUR help getting the word out. Please work extra hard on contacting everyone you know, and all the pet stores, veterinarians, etc in your area. Make sure the people you talk to understand they are the ones who need to call & email, because it is their rep who has the power to kill HR 669 on April 23. These are the representatives that really need to hear our voice.

Even if it isn't your representative, you may be in a situation similar to me. My representative isn't on the subcommittee, but I live very near the district border, and my bordering district is the one in VA whose representative is on the subcommittee. So I'm focusing my efforts in the neighboring district, as far as getting the word out. Of course when I call in, I have to call my representative.

BTW, Colorado and Louisiana each have 2 reps on that subcommittee.
