I don't doubt that, however, I was just trying to anticipate a bit more color in them by the time they crawl out of the egg. I was thinking that they may lose a bit of that bluish tint. I am basing that solely on my experience with the color of VPI Axanthics when they are in the egg versus once they hatch.

you do have a very good point, i expect that they will color up after they are out and that "hypo look" they have will fade. From the lori pic ive seen i would have to say these are not super lori's either(wouldnt that be awsome), however from the limited pics ive seen het reds and loris do share some simularities, so mabey my brown stipe falls some where in between the two???

    cheers-justin
i know i was born and i know that ill die, the in-between is mine....i am mine

Either way, it is a cool project that proved out for you. I myself will be breeding a Lace Black Back to a Corey Woods line Het Red girl this upcoming season, and believe that they will be compatible. With the similarities of the Red Axanthic and Super Lori, I wouldn't be shocked if they prove to be compatible as well. Almost along the lines of Black Pastels and Cinnys. Even though some of the morphs these days prove to be compatible, the traits that are known in each line make them worthwhile projects. I work with BHB line Cinnys, but still want to add some Black Pastels to the collection soon.

Congrats again on proving out a project that took alot of time and dedication. Great job Justin.
