Feeding
My pastel is in shed has been for like a week, his hum% is 60%. I was told to try and feed him, so I got him a hopper, and got my female some food also, and he has not tried to eat it. He eats like a champ, I've NEVER seen him turn down a meal, same with my normal. My question is should I leave the hopper in there the rest of the day? or just feed it off to my normal

Re: Feeding
I would feed off the hopper. A hopper could potentially injure your snake, where as a fuzzy/pink won't. My pastel is the only one that won't eat in shed.

Re: Feeding
Remember males don't need to be 2000g. Leaner males also breed better from what I've heard. My 300g male is already producing sperm and he is still a while off from breeding.

Re: Feeding
Remember though "not eating" isn't about the occasional refusal due to shed or whatever. All snakes can refuse occasionally but if it's just that week and they go back to eating just fine after shed, then I wouldn't even worry yourself much about it. If he shows a pattern of not eating, then it's more of a concern of course.
