When I got mine, the temp was accurate when comparing with a IR gun I have, and the hydrometer was exactly 75% RH. I would not use the adhesive tape inside the enclosure, I would use a hot glue gun or magnets.
Okay thank you! So that pack is just for calibrating the hygrometer?

Can adding moss to the decor and hide help with humidity too?

Most likely in blue. When he clears up a bit from the dull color it is about 1-3 days until shed.

He shed today! It didn't come off in one big piece, but most of it came off nicely, I had to assist him in the rest by soaking him in the tub.

Awesome ! Sometimes, if the shed isn't in one big piece, the shed on the eyes won't come off. If the eye(s) look grey, it is leftover shed. You did the right thing to soak him.
