ok now im lost.i probed all my snakes to sex them and the normal female in my pics that laying inveRtED is female.but this is were im lost at why would she be the one trying TO mate with the male.she spur rubs him and is all over him.do they do that also.i put them back together and this is whats going on as i type.so in the pics shes inverted so is she gravid or just building folicals.woulD shE Still mATe if she was gravid?

When they mate who's tail is on the bottom facing up?
How confident are you with probing. Have you tried popping them?

im confident on probing havent tried popping them havent perfected it and dont want to hurt them.heres a pic the male is on the top female is on the bottom.

Hmm, I would re-probe them both because the male takes the bottom position.

great!!now im stressing.i know this if this helps the female that inverted in the pics in this post looked funny when she was laying normal the other day and i noticed she looked wavy it looked like egg shapes. i counted 5 and a possible.didnt want to touch her to feel them because she was in shed.

If you're comfortable palpating you can try that after she sheds to see if she has follicles/eggs. I would still re-probe them just to be sure. It could just have been a fluke if the male was trying to position himself at the time of the picture. Have you noticed the "female" underneath all the time or just this once?

no i havent seen the female on the bottom.even my het pieds did the same thing heres a pic.male is on the bottom female on the top.

Now I'm confused, .
Here is how they should be locking up, male is the hypo with his tail under the female's tail, female is the het.

If your female assumes the position of my hypo male then "she" might be a male.
