I went to a herp show here in Sydney on the weekend. Albino's and hets were everywhere! The albinos were selling for around $1k ea.

I thought you couldn't keep native species in Australia. I guess you can...

In most states you can. Different species require different level licenses. You can keep carpets on a level 1 license. It costs $60 for 2 years. Greens and rough scaled pythons require a level 2 license which you can apply for after 2 years on a level 1 license.

Any reptiles from overseas, ie; exotic, are illegal. It really blows!!

Thats pretty much it.. Keep something easy then move up!

Nice snakes. I have been seeing those more commonly in the trade. Still pretty rare but they are deffiantly becoming more distributed. I have already noticed prices dropping a little as they become more available.
