But you reallllllllly should make sure this is what you really want. Money is a big factor in keeping herps, and without it you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. I was like you, and purchased snakes fast. My first snake was a BP also, and once I got her 10 more followed 6 months later. I had to have a morph so I got my pastel, then I was at a pet store and saw an adult female, and had to have her. Then I adopted one off of craigslist. I stuck with them for a bit until I came across a sweet deal for some nice breeder normal females, and bought four of them. Then a red tail, kenyan, and so on lol. Truth is, I was in over my head before I could even fully realize it. Thank god nothing happened to my snakes but I know now if it did I would have been very upset, and probably without my snakes because of the cost of vet bills etc. I had a few that were showing signs of RI but turned out to be nothing, problems with equipment, all kinds of things, but you never know what will happen. Equipment is such a big thing too, you say 200+ dollars is WAY out of your price range? Well tstats are usually 100+ for a good one, cages are 200+ for a good one, and not to mention the snake. I am in no way shape or form trying to deter you from your dream here, but just trying to shed some light from young herper to young herper. You really do remind me a lot of myself. Your very enthusiastic, persistent, and knowledgeable, but I am sensing some impatience lol(maybe I'm not, thats just my personal problem). Do whatever makes you happy in the end, and just make sure you make that snake happy too. Don't let anyone including me stop you from making your decision, only you truly know whats best. Best of luck dude, and please post pics of whatever it is you decide on!!!
Thank you very much!
I am glad your snakes did well and that you amanged to over come the money situation. I also greatly appreciate the words of encouragement
One thing about the money situation, is that At first I knew I had at least 300 dolalrs to play with right now. Now I know its more like 400 - 500 dollars
Plus ill be working 2 jobs soon Gonna be making some good bank off that which I will be using almost 100% for my snake(s)
" Best of luck dude, and please post pics of whatever it is you decide on!!!"
Thank you! I will surely post pictures when I get my snake!
But most of all I just can't thank you enough for the kind words. I know a lot of people are concerned that I may be rushing into things, But id be very happy to prove them wrong (not saying anybody here has said that, but my brother and a few friends are already looking down on my for my choice of pet)
Im confident I can do it!
(LOL just wanted to add, you ARE RIGHT. I am EXTREMELY impatient lol. I am the most impatient person I know )

Re: Reasonable sized python?
thank you I will. VERY nice!!! Always looking for a new addition.
Hold on to what is good
even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe
even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do
even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life
even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand
even when I have gone far away from you.

Re: Reasonable sized python?
The are "addicting." There are so many beautiful species out there along with our beloved small morph breeders, how do you choose just one?
