"Oh cool new guy trouble with incubator lets see what I can pass on"

turned into utter disgust for someone who doesnt care about "little marks" because it is not "a prize snake"

Massive fail as a keeper. Good luck with your eggs.
thanks for the 1st part but not for the 2nd .

any how for the rest of you. I was asking for help on my incubator not on how to take care of my snake. she is fine and health 'NO MARKS' he does because she bit at him, thats how I found out she was prego. I have had her for over 6 years and I dont need you yelling at me and telling me she will get burnt. I have a 105 gallon tank and if she gets hot she goes and gets on the cold side or in her water. SNAKES CAN THINK YOU KNOW??? Sorry I dont keep mine in a lttle hole like you all!

    105 gallon TANK, wow.

im gonna go back to my snakes who live in a hole and arent anywhere near a temperature of 105.

please get a thermostat for both the incubator and your massive fish tank.

    Re: Help!!

No one is yelling at you - but people ARE concerned about your animals more than they are about your feelings.

    You stated in another thread
Sorry just have a bad rep with forums
    .

If you are having "problems" with all the forums that you go to, perhaps you might want to think about why you are?

Just my personal observation. You come and you ask for help, and then when help is offered, and suggestions are made, you immediately get defensive instead of taking the comments for what they are.

Yes, many of us do take offense to taking time to help someone, only to have them reject and dismiss the help that we offer.

You may keep your animals in a HUGE tank with no temp control and they do just fine. Doesn't mean that you're providing the best environment for them.

I can keep my dog in a walk in closet day and night, only taking her out for walks and feed and water her, and she will do just fine. Doesn't mean it's the best environment for her.

With that said - good luck with your eggs.

Did you even bother to read the caresheet that Walt posted for you?

In that caresheet it will explain that not only are you providing horrible temperature conditions, but that the 105g tank you are using is waaaaaay too big.

An adult BP is generally housed in nothing bigger than a 20g Long tank because they like tight compressed spaces they feel safer and less stress.

Let me guess you house both of your snakes together as well (and I'm assuming thats how she became gravid)? Thats a no-no as well. Solitary animals except for mating purposes.

PS - Snakes can think, but they can't thermoregulate.
