    Post your Livestock!

I thought that it'd be fun to start a thread of pics for livestock-type animals I was going to post pics of the roos, and horses.. then I thought. Why not combine them into a livestock thread, and see who else has "traditional" farm animals? Please post away!

Emma and Cuesta today. Finding green grass beneath the snow.

    Blah, winter...

Sweet Jas! I love goats. I really want some eventually. Those little miniature goats are more adorable even. And neato hennage too..

    Re: Post your Livestock!

Man I wish I had land like that and I could have horses, chickens and goats and the like. I used to live out in the country (kinda) and we had three horses. They were a blast to have. One would drink out of a cup to get to your tea.
    Under Construction.....

    Re: Post your Livestock!

Hehe.. a friend of mine had a gelding who'd drink beer from a can. My dad and uncle were over there awhile ago painting the fence. Uncle set his beer can on the fencepost (of course not the fence they were painting! A different paddock, that the gelding was in.) Horse grabbed the can, and drank it by swinging his head up! lol.

Awesome horses! Cool to see another horsey BP-netter. They are all gorgeous; my favorite has to me Mia. She looks like a sweet mare!

    Re: Post your Livestock!

I LOVE livestock, but we don't have a lot of land... So we just have a couple of the world's most spoiled pygmy goats. And I mean SPOILED. If you sit down anywhere NEAR them, they get in your lap and MAN those hooves can hurt!

This is when they figured out lawn furniture for the first time:
