Anyone have any suggestions for our new member?
@Big Red- It might help to post pics of him, by the way.

Welcome~
Along with super champagne, there's a few other genes that can cause issues with champagne. OWAL has a good list of them here:

OWAL also has a good list of the different complexes as well, which is a good reference for anyone looking into breeding and knowing what may or may not be allelic:

As for suggestions....
For a champagne it's sometimes a hard call because it's a big pattern disrupter. A lot of them can end up being hard to tell apart. Some popular genes I've seen combo'd up have been hypo, banana/coral glow, cinnamon/black pastel, enchi, leopard, yellowbelly and mojave.
Most of those are fairly simple and straightforward. Hypo is a bit of a longer project because it's a recessive.
If the pieds are a 1.1 pair, that's a good start right there. Or you can breed the champagne if they're both females. The downside with champagne pieds though can be that they're a bit tricky sometimes. Of course, being recessive, you wouldn't have visual pieds, only hets. But the hets that are also champagne could almost look like a low white pied because champagne is prone to 'ringers'. Usually it's a small ring of white near the end of the body/tail but when they're het pied they can sometimes be quite a bit larger. Or occassionally have more than one ringer marking.
Once you DO end up with champagne pieds, they can also be a bit odd because they can have a chance to throw an all white baby or extremely low white baby with just strange white flaming from the belly as the tell for the pied.
Hopefully someone else comes by with more suggestions! I'm personally not working with champagne, but someone on the forums must have experience with some good combos.

So I finally got some semi decent pictures of my champagne. I also threw pics of my male and female pied pastels in.
