since you've gotten good advice already, i just want to add:
RELAX and enjoy your time at the show! don't freak out when you're there constantly thinking about mites. you're in a great position with tons of knowledge and no animals so you're at the least risk for something catastrophic.
just enjoy the experience. and also take your clothes off and wash them when you get home.
EDIT: to parrot above: DON'T handle anything unless you intend to buy! it protects you and also doesn't annoy the breeder.
What kind of show is this? Thought it was a NEAAR show.

I usually strip out of my clothes before I come in the house when I get back and jump right in the shower. I also use hand sanitizer when I'm at the show if I hold anything. I don't buy anything at shows. I'm scared to death of bringing home mites. The last time I had them was back in the early 90s. it wasn't uncommon to see them all over boas and pythons in pet shops because so many of them were wild caught.
