That is actually artistic in a morbid way. The darker side of nature bared.

she just knew she had to protect those eggs. every fiber in her body was screaming out in agony but her instinct told her "not without my eggs".
it's hauntingly beautiful.

Last time I saw this posted, the true story was unclear. It may have been a forest fire or it could’ve been natives who torched this snake and her eggs purposely for revenge after their livestock had been eaten by another snake. You can see the ground behind the snake is a road of some sort. Likely natives dragged her and her eggs out, drenched them in kerosene and set them ablaze on purpose.

Right???? That's why I prefer the company of animals more often than humans. People suck. (Obviously not ALL people, hahaha. We've got some great people right here on the forum).

Not superior just the most violent. That is the way of nature. The most efficient killers survive the easiest. That is why less violent animals or smaller animals tend to make more babies. Retics being the exception to the rule. LOL.
Those fires had to be fast and hot for them to get locked into this pose and not fall down. The animals died in a flash. I am surprised those eggs are not in worse shape? They did see it coming or they would not have struck out. Some hard core moms there. So sad.
