Question concerning buying from Boaphile Plastics
Has anyone here ordered a thermostat, in addition to a rack, from Boaphile Plastics? If so, was it shipped separately? My rack was just delivered a couple days ago, but there's no sign of the thermostat. I understand that the cages and racks are on cycles, so I was just wondering if it's a similar situation with the thermostats. Sorry if that's a dumb question. I placed my order a month ago and the rack got here faster than I was expecting, so I'm definitely not in a rush to get everything set up. This is my first time ordering something like this and I just want to know if I should be concerned. I know of Jeff's reputation and I'll call if I have to, but I figured I'd just check here first to see if some things could be cleared up. I don't really want to be one of those annoying customers if I don't have to lol.

Boaphile doesnt make their own t-stats. They just use Ranco ones and wire them up. They are an on/off t-stat. I personally would just order a Herpstat from Spyder Robotics. Will get to you a lot faster i imagine. I order directly from them and pay the extra couple bucks for priority shipping and i get it usually in a couple days.

There is a local guy here selling a nice looking stack of Boaphiles, but he will only sell it with the Ranco T-stats. For that reason I’m not a buyer. I stand firm on Herpstat with Sauzo.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
