Hello from Canada!
Hi everyone! I'm a Canadian who very recently got seriously interested in keeping snakes. I've loved snakes for a long time and always wanted to own one, and it looks like I'll finally be able to when I move this summer. I've been doing lots of reading and this forum has been an invaluable resource for me
I'm still a student with limited space, so I'm probably not going to get too ambitious with the hobby. After much deliberation I've tentatively settled on the gopher snake as my first noodle (which I'm hoping I'll be able to find and purchase without too much difficulty).
If any of you are located in the Toronto area I'd love to chat, and maybe get some pointers for a total newbie Anyway, I love what I've seen of the site so far, and can't wait to learn more about snakes!

Re: Hello from Canada!
to the site!
Gophers are great looking snakes - and from what I have seen generally eat like a bucket.

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of snake keeping!!!
Toronto is a fantastic city. I've been there and Niagara Falls a handful of times for hockey tournaments.
...might be too soon, but GO BRUINS!!!
Man, the Leafs made that a fun series to watch!! Freddy Anderson was phenomenal all series.
Anyway, welcome! I've never kept gophers, but they seem like a cool species. Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: Hello from Canada!
Welcome. Never been to Canada. Not big on cold winters. I have been to several countries though and love to travel. Things thawing out up there?
