    Design your own high contrast morph.

    I am looking for ways of producing the most striking high contrast patterns. I am wanting peoples thoughts on genetics that produce the brilliant color patterns. Please feel free to post photos if you already have a ball python that meets this. Also looking for theories on genes that might produce the effect safely.


    Cant wait to see what you guys come up with.

    here's a Super Orange Dream Yellow Belly Spider produced by Eric Alan. this guy is KILLER! a perfect example of a high contrast morph. i wish there was more black in the pattern to fit my own personal tastes, but i mean...look at him!!!

    I agree he is striking but yet I am looking for more of a pattern as well. Love the bright colors. Wonder if they fade as he ages? Also not a huge fan of the spider gene. Health issues becomes a concern.

    not this guy! here's a photo Eric Alan shared from this past november.

    i agree i like more patterning as well, but the colors that guy has is just nuts. i'm looking forward to following this thread!

    My vote would have to go to the VPI Axanthic Fire. I wish I could have both of those genes in every Ball Python I will ever own or produce!

    Nice contrast there. Would love to see more color than the Axanthic has though. I do love them for what they are.

    I'm a huge lover of black and silver snakes, but the VPI Axanthic and/or Fire genes added to just about any other gene makes them glow with contrast...
