can you move it back any farther towards that side of the tub? it almost looks in the middle but that might be the perspective of the photo.

it is in the middle, but thats because i have the little rubber feet on the tub so the heat mat isnt resting directly on the surface, the surface its going to be sitting on is plywood and i didnt know if that was okay or not

Well, that is very good, but you are using half the tub with heat pad, it should 1/3

alright ill have it overhang some so its only 1/3. but since this pad is old and has never been used its not so sticky,, anything i can use to keep it on? packing tape? also i’ll probably be buying a smaller UTH once i get my refund money back from amazon so it looks nicer.

aluminum tape. do not use packing tape as it can melt and be a fire hazard.
