    Missing Scales, what to use?

I noticed right after my bp shed he had a few missing scales on one side of his body, before he shed there didn’t’ seem to be any missing scales other than one next to his spine (which is old so theres nothing to worry about)

Is there any medicine I can put on it just to make sure nothing happens? It looks really red

I'm pretty sure that as long as you keep them healthy and clean, it should grow back by itself in a few weeks.

Neosporin WITHOUT pain relief to keep the area clean. this happens sometimes after they shed; Yellow had a spot like this some months back.

Betadine solution is also good in addition to neosporin. Betadine cleans out any debris from the area. Use Q-tips to apply then use another Q-tip to apply neosporin.

I keep both on hand for just such occasions.

Honestly because it is a small area I would just clean it and make sure it's stays clean (So replace your substrate to newspaper or better paper towel)

Neosporin will not be necessary in this case, you can apply it once but I would not do it more than that. While it is a great anti-bacterial it is also oil based and prolonged used will listen scales and make them fall off.
