Getting a male yellow belly pied for £220 is it too good to be true?

I have found a yellow belly male pied cb 15 online of a classifieds site for £220 is this too good to be true? And the person seems be selling their whole collection by the looks of things.

Depends some people come on hard time and have to sell, or some people just say that to scam others (morph not being what it is supposed to be), health issues etc......you can never tell when you buy from a private individual VS a breeder.

The first thing would be is it really a Pastel YB Pied? Do you have pictures to help identifying it, that would be a start.

Yeah, that's about half what they're worth. If I were you I'd be skeptical. Are you meeting in person? Can you see the snake before you pay?

Buyer beware... Just do your homework. Get a good look at the animal and how they are housed and kept. Especially cleanliness of course if at all possible. Good luck in any case.

If he's selling his hole collection check for mites ri etc. that's alright if they're selling bc they need the money but while I was looking around at first I found 2 people that were selling collection for dirt cheap. Upon further questioning came to find out one was scared an ibd breakout happened(which at the time before all this recent reading on here isn't a big deal or that commonly spread) and the other whole collection plagued with mites. Which not a big deal but for my first couple snakes...not something I wanted to deal with lol

Re: Getting a male yellow belly pied for £220 is it too good to be true?

I thought so until recent threads have come up (in the past week or two) they can have ibd for years and never show a symptom or or even just back to back ri's for example is a symptom. Search ibd on this forum it's NOTHING like I thought it was in ball pythons. And notice I say ball pythons bc it seems way different then with boas or other pythons. But that's just what I've read recently on here I never really looked up the scientific aspect as it's so rare it's not something I want to worry about every time my snake gets sick
