I don't have a picture, but my Schnauzer Sandi used to do agility before I moved. She really enjoyed it.
And no, your dog is never too old to start learning a sport. My dogs agility class had plenty of old dogs that were just trying to stay moving.

I know there are some agility clubs around me, since I've seen their equipment set up around the animal shelter where the local dog park is, but I'm not sure of any other sports. Odin's pretty fast and too smart for his own good so I'm sure he'd be good at a sport if he picked it up, I just need to make time to get him into a class.
2 years is still very young, and it's never too old to start agility. Dog sports are all about having fun as a first priority to begin with, even for those who are into competing (at least, that should be their mentality). Agility is exercise, bonding time, and dog and handler learning to read each other. He sounds like he'd be great at it too.

Dawwww what a cutie. ;;
He honestly looks like a black bi Australian Shepherd to me, mainly due to the wavy fur texture and shape of the muzzle/head, and the flat ears? Maybe even a BC/Aussie mix? I guess it's not uncommon for some BCs to be mixed with Aussies somewhere along the line for a few of the BC/Aussie looking dogs.

Yep. We're agility folks - pretty clearly, I guess. Love the game - LOVE. Also LOVE the dog like crazy.
Also my BC turned 2 in May and while she's had lots of classes, she won't start competing until she's at least 3. IF you want to play, get out there and do it! Two is CRAZY young, and barely more than a puppy!

That's cool! Did you guys get titles yet, or just starting out?
Heyyy, I think bed bug detection sounds like a lot of fun. My instructor in nose work trains bed bug detection dogs. The fact that some of these dogs can detect a single bed bug on the ceiling of a room is just amazing.

Just starting out with this boy. Will be going for our BH in september. My SO'S dog has a Schz II so it's not our first rodeo.
Yes. A friend of the family owns a extermination service. It's something he has wanted to add for a while but the investment is pretty steep. So we'll get my pup trained up and do some uhh consulting work ^_^ he loves nose work so I'm looking forward to it.
Though he has an aptitude for the ball python hunting too. He found my escapee this morning. Lol
