A regular soaking program is something you will find some Blood people utilize.
Cypress mulch instead? Regular soak like doing it weekly?

Thanks, I hope she comes around I've had her for almost 4 years and was hoping to breed her at some point. She is still acting sluggish, but im hoping thats just antibiotics.
Also the vet said to try and feed her this weekend, I plan on giving her smaller meals for the next few months if she pulls thru.

well today was a bad day. Some time this afternoon i found Chubby dead. when i checked on her when i got up she seemed fine even passes some urine. She lost 3 lbs in less than a month. Now I find that my young male i was planning to breed with her when he reached size, has what appears to be eye infections.

I thought when you said she was becoming lethargic that that may be the case, a death soon.
I havent seen too many deaths amongst blood people in my short time, but it seems like once they get lethargic, its over.
Can you stomach up the courage and inquisitiveness to cut her open to see what happened?
Also post pictures of the males eye....
Sorry to hear about your loss

Yes my wife actually has some anatomy background, and we discovered that was probably septicemia, there were infected abscesses.

Was there a blockage of poop/urates as well?
Or was the swelling from the abscesses?
