Brocks new 'Bug Balls' & updated Ultramel & Mimosa
Brock got in a couple "Bug" balls from Albinos Unlimited and had me over to take some photo's.
His Ultramel also shed out and was looking extra nice.

    Bug:

    Ultramel (fresh shed):

Mimosa (since everyone always wants to see one):

Ultramel and Mimosa (what a hot combo that would be):

Can someone please explain the "Mimosa"? I'm in absolute awe! Looks like it would be a combo of these (taken at Daytona 08)...

I would imagine the differences are that it is proven -- most are not, and it is unrelated to any other proven Granite line. It needs a "name" so as not to be confused/linked to any similar animal -- not all granites are created equal. :)

Mimosa is actually an orange ghost champaign. Perfect name for it seeing how the mimosa is orange juice and champaign.

I think out of all the names of Ball morphs the Mimosa is the most fitting if you know the drink then you'll know whats in the snake:gj:

Are ringers common among Champagnes like they are in Calicos?

An Ultramel is an Ultramel. It's a base morph just like a pastel or piebald.

It's not a caramel albino nor is it a designer morph.

Ultramels did used to be called caramel albinos from Noahs line in Africa.

They looked so different to other lines of caramel they called them ultramels.

We got an ultramel early 2008, and they were then being sold as caramels then.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Ultramel used to be called the Crider Line Caramel, but as there has been no trace of kinking associated with the other lines of Caramels they have named it something different.

The Ultramel/Crider has been proven incompatible with most/all Caramel lines -- by Vin Russo if I remember correctly -- and therefore is a completely different morph from the Caramel lines.

I believe that the next few years will reveal the Ultramel to present itself differently in combos from Caramels -- and that the "kinking issues" with Caramels has been DRAMATICALLY OVERSTATED over the last decade!!!!!

Has anyone verified that Crider and Ultramel are the same morph, yet? I know I have seen Criders for sale recently.
