    crazy breeders and their uncaringness
i know a few breeders and i know one who is a total idot and hateful person. he only sees money and doesnt care about the snakes, they have mites and are aggressivly trained. he sees the larger snakes as the real money makers so he takes better care of them then the balls. he treats his balls like they are not even there. it makes me so angery. im going to call about his treatment. but i just hate when breeders see only money. and i also hate it when breeders look down on ball pythons.... i mean this guy was selling a first time snake owner a rock python.. graaaahh sorry i know this is kinda a rant but i had to get it out. i think hes going to try to sell the last of his snakes soon and i hope he does cuz ne thing other then that place is better.

Seems to me that for someone who only cares about the money, he would care about actually selling his product, and I don't know of anyone who wants to buy a snake that has mites.

Stupid people do stupid things, unfortunately.

u intentuly try to make the snakes strike at you for either fun or a mean snake some breeders think if its done enough that the snake will get used to it and not stike anymore.

On the flip side, there are many caring breeders/hobbyists out there who put love of the animals first and the business end second. I'm proud to know a few of those wonderful folks. There are lots of them here, too!

    All snakes are wonderful.

Honestly, all of earth's animals are, and deserve to be treated kindly and with respect. I know that probably sounds pretty sappy, but its just my opinion, and what I believe to be true.

It is pretty sad when people feel a false sense of superiority and importance in themselves over animals.

There is my pseudo-hippie gospel for the day. haha.:8:

I will listen to your hippie gospel because it make complete sense to me...... Since I sexed one of my Garters wrong I may soon be a proud grandma....Eicks I am not sure that I am ready for 10 - 40 live birth snakes... and then even if she does not have them this year I have 50 months that she may hold on to the semen... so I may have to wait four years before she decides to have the babies from this years breeding.....:O

Then of course I am not even attempting to sex my baby ball python... so I have been calling it Little One for now but that does not "fit" for it.....
